Job Summary
Provide legal advice and support to TD’s Canadian Personal Bank and Wealth businesses and supporting corporate functions. Advise on senior and vulnerable client matters; review internal and external materials including customer documentation, contracts, policies, and marketing materials; participate in product development and issue-spotting; ensure compliance with Bank Act consumer provisions and related codes (including the Seniors Code); contribute to regulatory review and advocacy; apply legal judgment across business lines to identify emerging risks; support knowledge sharing and Legal Department initiatives with a solutions-oriented mindset. Licensed to practice law in Ontario with 3-5+ years of Canadian experience; experience with powers of attorney, estates and trusts; bilingual ability (French) is an asset.
