Job Summary
Legal Counsel in Romania providing hands-on, in-house legal support to Glovo across the Romanian business. You will assess and advise on launches of new verticals, projects and operations challenges, provide compliance guidance across privacy, labor, and regulatory requirements, review and draft contracts with external partners, and collaborate with local and HQ teams. Requires at least 2 years of in-house or Big4 experience in contractual and regulatory matters, Romanian law degree (validated in Romania or from a European country), and advanced English. Experience with labor and data protection, and engagement with regulators (ANCOM, ANPC, RCC) is a plus. The role supports flexibility (work from home two days a week) and a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with opportunities to grow.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (Romania or European country validated in Romania)
- 2+ years of experience as in-house counsel or at a reputed law firm/Big4
- experience in contractual and regulatory matters
- experience in labor law and data protection is a plus
- advanced level of English (speaking and drafting)
- highly motivated, problem solver, organized, detail-oriented
- entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a growing environment
- ability to engage with authorities (e.g., ANCOM, ANPC, RCC)
