Job Summary
Develop and maintain Tony's global compliance framework while monitoring evolving regulations across markets, including ESG, packaging, advertising, and competition law. Maintain GDPR compliance by managing documentation and coordinating data protection processes. Conduct legal research to translate regulatory developments into practical advice for the business. Support corporate governance activities, manage the corporate insurance portfolio, and oversee claims processes. Develop and deliver legal awareness training to embed compliance culture across the business. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors on regulatory projects and business-critical initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Around 4-6 years of experience as a qualified Dutch lawyer and/or in-house legal counsel
- Strong experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance and governance matters
- A Dutch law degree
- Currently living in the Netherlands
- Excellent drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
- Able to see the bigger picture and balance legal risk with commercial objectives
- Curious, adaptable and eager to learn new areas of law and regulation
- Well-organized, proactive and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
