Job Summary
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts for vendors, freelancers, and clients while providing legal advice on corporate governance, mergers, and acquisitions. Advise on compliance with national and international regulations, including data protection, intellectual property, and labor laws. Represent the company in disputes and litigation, develop internal policies, and monitor legislative changes to recommend adjustments. Handle employee relations issues, work with external counsel, and assist with corporate strategy. Requires a law degree, bar admission, and 3-5 years of experience in corporate, contract, or IP law. Required Qualifications
- A law degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar
- Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) in corporate law, contract law, and/or intellectual property law
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements, particularly in data protection (e.g., GDPR) and intellectual property
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, evolving environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with international law and regulations
- Experience in dispute resolution and litigation
- Knowledge of Dutch and EU legal frameworks
