Job Summary
Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements including MSAs, SLAs, and DPAs with enterprise clients while triaging high-volume workflows to unblock deals. Own US data privacy matters by negotiating processing terms and advising on state and international laws, cross-border transfers, and product releases. Develop playbooks for common negotiation scenarios and partner with product, engineering, and security teams on compliance documentation, feature specifications, and AI policies. Support corporate projects like fundraising and international expansion, managing large portfolios of concurrent negotiations across time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed attorney admitted to practice in any US state
- Strong training from a top law firm or relevant in-house experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a practising attorney
- Proven expertise negotiating and closing complex, high-volume SaaS agreements with enterprise clients
- Demonstrable experience with international compliance frameworks (GDPR, SCCs, DPAs)
- Ability to advise confidently on complex cross-border data transfer issues
- Ability to navigate regulatory uncertainty across multiple jurisdictions
