Legal Counsel - Land & Property

Provide specialist legal advice on land and property matters across a large infrastructure programme. Focus on land access, rights, third-party interfaces, compulsory purchase and blight acquisitions, disposals, leases, licences and easements, and related compensation. Draft, negotiate and conclude standardised and bespoke agreements aligned with programme requirements and timelines. Identify and manage land and property-related legal risks, escalate high-risk matters, and provide commercially focused advice to enable timely decisions. Instruct and manage external advisers and provide broader in-house legal support across commercial, regulatory and governance matters, building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering pragmatic solutions in a fast-paced environment.
