Job Summary
In-house Legal Counsel focusing on intellectual property enforcement and broad commercial matters. Lead IP enforcement strategy across domestic and international markets, manage external counsel, and oversee cease-and-desist, demand letters, and litigation coordination. Draft and negotiate a range of commercial agreements including licensing, distribution, and supply contracts; advise executive leadership on governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and IP-related business risks; coordinate patent portfolio matters with U.S. and international counsel; monitor the competitive landscape and guide IP enforcement decisions across e-commerce and digital platforms. Flexible work arrangements are noted in the posting; the successful candidate will collaborate with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to support global commercial expansion and corporate governance.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- active bar membership in good standing (California preferred)
- 7–10 years of legal experience with IP enforcement and/or IP litigation
- experience with federal court litigation
- experience managing outside counsel
- strong drafting and negotiation skills across commercial agreements
