Legal Counsel – iGaming (Malta)

Job Summary
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including software, game aggregation, supplier, and employment contracts. Support corporate transactions such as M&A, restructurings, and share transfers while managing corporate governance matters like board resolutions and statutory filings. Assist with gaming licence applications, monitor regulatory developments, and provide legal guidance on GDPR, trademark, and intellectual property issues. Manage KYC/AML processes, counterparty due diligence, and maintain legal documentation across multiple jurisdictions. Deliver legal training and advise internal stakeholders on commercial and regulatory matters. Requires 3–5 years' PQE; based in St. Julian's, Malta.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer
- 3–5 years' experience in private practice or in-house
- Strong commercial awareness
- Excellent contract drafting skills
- Highly organised
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work collaboratively across international teams
