Legal Counsel I

Job Summary
Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret commercial agreements including sales, services, and software licensing contracts. Provide day-to-day legal advice to business stakeholders on commercial, corporate, compliance, and regulatory matters while identifying and mitigating legal risks. Ensure company practices comply with applicable local and international laws, monitor legislative developments, and support governance initiatives across the EMEA region. Conduct legal research, prepare analyses, and collaborate with internal departments and external counsel on contract negotiations and compliance programs such as GDPR and data privacy. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Law, 3–5 years of in-house experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Occasional travel within EMEA is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law
- 3–5 years of experience as an in-house Legal Counsel or in a multinational environment
- Strong expertise in commercial and contract law
- Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
- Experience advising internal stakeholders on legal, compliance, and risk management matters
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the EMEA region when required
