Job Summary
Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements while mitigating legal risks for the Indonesian business. Keep the Principal Legal Counsel updated on material legal matters and manage projects, stakeholders, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Analyze complex issues, propose effective solutions, and handle company secretarial work and ad hoc duties as required. This role supports APAC Legal's commercial needs across commerce, incentives, emerging payments, and procurement within a small, friendly team in Jakarta.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3+ years PQE, in a corporate environment and/or law firm
- Strong legal level of Indonesian and English proficiency
- Adhere to legal ethical rules, guidelines and compliance requirements
- You're a self starter who enjoys working in a small, dynamic local legal team
- Able to work independently/remotely with online supervision and support
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including financial services regulation and payments, would be an asset
- Company secretarial experience would be a bonus
