Job Summary
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and legal documentation while providing practical, commercially focused advice to internal stakeholders. Support renewable energy and infrastructure projects in Ireland by managing legal risks, assisting with employment law matters, and liaising with external legal advisers across Ireland and the UK. Contribute to governance, compliance, and strategic business initiatives by monitoring regulatory developments and managing disputes. This role requires a Qualified Solicitor in Ireland with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial legal environment.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor in Ireland
- Degree in Law (LLB, JD or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2–5 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) in a commercial legal environment, either in private practice or in-house
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts and legal documentation
- Experience providing practical, commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders and senior leaders
- Experience supporting employment law matters and managing external legal advisers
- Demonstrable experience identifying, assessing and mitigating legal and commercial risks
- Experience managing disputes, claims and regulatory matters
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and pragmatically
- Role based in Ireland
- Must be based in Ireland to complete the tasks of this role
Desired Qualifications
- Additional qualifications in commercial law, construction law, employment law, corporate governance, or compliance
- Knowledge of renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project development sectors
