Legal Counsel

Legal Counsel in an in-house team within the Governance, Legal, Operations and Engagement division, providing accurate, timely and pragmatic legal advice across the breadth of the commission's regulatory work. The role involves delivering guidance on regulatory decisions including price determinations, licensing, and customer protection, reviewing material for pricing determinations, instructing external counsel at hearings, and coordinating external counsel while ensuring compliance with legislative and government requirements. This is a full-time position based in Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available, and opportunities to develop skills and contribute to fair, reliable and accessible essential services for Victorian consumers.
