Legal Counsel

Job Summary
Legal Counsel role supporting day-to-day legal operations for a global organization. Partner with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and cross-functional teams to manage legal matters, drive process improvements, and support regulatory and data privacy initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. Responsibilities include coordinating with external law firms, handling regulatory inquiries and disputes, conducting legal research, preparing summaries and risk assessments, developing and maintaining policies and playbooks, ensuring timely follow-up on actions and deadlines, and supporting technology, software, SaaS, and digital-business matters. Qualifications emphasize corporate legal experience, ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision, strong analytical and communication skills, and advanced to fluent English (Spanish is a plus). The role offers hybrid work in São Paulo region (or Serra Gaúcha region) and fully remote arrangements for other regions within Brazil, with opportunities for international collaboration and cross-border legal support.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of corporate legal environments and business operations
- Experience handling legal, regulatory, litigation, or dispute-related matters
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with limited supervision
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced to fluent English is required
- Spanish proficiency is a strong plus
