Job Summary
Legal Counsel - Compliance supporting Nexans’ global compliance program with focus on anti-bribery & corruption, antitrust/competition law, and trade sanctions. Responsibilities include deploying and enhancing compliance controls and governance tools, coordinating training and awareness campaigns (e.g., Compliance Week), supporting day-to-day advisory topics for Business Groups, contributing to third-party due diligence (agents, distributors), and collaborating with Group/Regional/Business Group Legal & Compliance teams to ensure consistent deployment of initiatives. Requirements include around 8 years of experience in compliance or regulatory matters in an international environment, fluency in French and English (additional language a plus), strong organizational and stakeholder-management capabilities, and a business-oriented mindset. Location stated as Nexans HQ-Courbevoie, France, with an in-person office-based arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory matters within an international environment
- Fluent French and strong English language skills; additional language a plus
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Curious, rigorous, collaborative, motivated to work on international compliance topics within a global industrial organisation
