Job Summary
Advise Sales, Product, and Finance teams on deal structure, contract negotiations, and risk mitigation across SaaS, licensing, and vendor agreements. Review, draft, and interpret commercial contracts while independently resolving legal and regulatory issues related to IP, data privacy, and compliance. Prepare template agreements and operational guidance to accelerate sales cycles, utilizing AI tools for drafting and redlining. Ensure customer data terms align with underlying vendor and acquisition agreements. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to bring new offerings to market and shape the company's commercial legal function.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- active Bar membership in good standing
- 4-8 years of post-JD experience independently negotiating SaaS, technology, licensing, partner, and vendor agreements with minimal oversight
- Working knowledge of consumer data privacy laws relevant to commercial contracting (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, FCRA) and how they shape customer-facing data terms

- Ability to independently manage and own multiple projects with varying deadlines; comfortable making decisions under ambiguous circumstances
