Job Summary
Legal Counsel to enhance expertise in Product and Marketing Compliance, Consumer Protection/Regulatory, Contracts, Commercial, and Intellectual Property across North America and Europe. Responsibilities include researching and analyzing potential legal risks in the company’s jurisdictions, implementing compliance across marketing, payment, consumer rights, and product development; drafting and revising commercial contracts and internal policies; raising awareness about legal requirements; building legal processes with positive ROI to improve service quality and manage risks; and communicating with business partners, law firms, and service providers from multiple jurisdictions.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent English (including legal drafting)
- 3-4+ years of relevant experience with an international or top-tier law firm or IT product company
- Initiative and willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters and to think creatively to solve complex legal issues
- Result-oriented, well-organized, and self-starter
- Skillful translator of complex legal issues into plain business solutions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
