Job Summary
Attorney in São Paulo, Brazil, joining the Subsidiary Corporate Governance Team to advise on subsidiary governance matters, conduct legal research on corporate laws and regulations (especially for financial institutions), prepare and manage Board/committee/shareholder materials and minutes, manage regulatory filings and entity records, support signing authorities and powers of attorney, and assist with corporate entity simplification and restructuring initiatives. Requires a law degree with active Brazilian license (OAB), English fluency, +3 years in a similar role, and governance/regulatory experience with Brazilian corporate law.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree and active license to practice law in Brazil (OAB- Brazilian Bar Association), in good standing
- Fluency in English
- +3 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Corporate governance and regulatory experience, with knowledge of Brazilian corporate law — especially closely held (non-public) corporations
- All candidates must successfully complete a conflict-of-interest clearance review prior to starting employment.
