Job Summary
Draft, negotiate and finalize a large volume of standard contracts for programs across the organization, including independent contractor agreements, speaker agreements, non-disclosure agreements and hotel contracts. Collaborate to plan and implement a new electronic contract management system in 2027. Effectively negotiate and manage low, moderate, and high-risk agreements; oversee the contract process to meet staff needs and organizational goals; develop and implement contract management processes, tools, templates, methods, and workflows; support complex RFPs for high-value contracts; work with business owners to develop statements of work and negotiate contracts; advise on the financial and business implications of contract decisions; identify risks and propose optimal solutions; conduct research as needed and develop improvements to the department’s workflow; act as contract liaison for Finance and IT; conduct educational sessions on the contract process; assist in preparing reports for executives and stakeholders; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 7+ years of relevant experience as a paralegal, attorney and/or contracting expert
- Law degree a plus; certification from National Contract Management Association or equivalent a plus
