Job Summary
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and conduct due diligence across multiple European jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local laws and data protection regulations. Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, delivering responsive legal guidance on business strategy and internal processes. Assess and optimize contract processes to streamline lifecycles and mitigate risks, while driving the adoption of Legal Tech tools like AI and CLM solutions for automated review. Develop training materials and SOPs to empower business teams on contract risks. This fixed-term, one-year contract is based in Madrid, Milan, London, or remotely within those countries, requiring fluency in German and English.
Required Qualifications
- Law Degree from a European country
- at least 8 years of experience handling commercial contracts
- significant time spent in-house or within a multinational environment
- bilingual communicator with advanced, fluent proficiency in both German and English
- prior experience in commercial contract negotiation across European jurisdictions
- fluency in both German and English
Desired Qualifications
- fluency in Romanian, French, Italian or Spanish
