Job Summary
Shape the enterprise risk management strategy by leading program development, aligning it with business goals and regulatory expectations, and evolving the risk framework and governance structure. Drive enterprise-wide risk assessments, including identification, scoring, and reporting, to deliver actionable insights for senior leadership and support decision-making. Monitor emerging risks and regulatory developments to translate them into strategic recommendations, while overseeing governance activities such as dashboards and committee materials. Partner cross-functionally to embed risk practices into daily operations, serve as a trusted advisor on risk and governance matters, and build a risk-aware culture through training and awareness programs.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise risk, audit, compliance, legal, or a related function within a regulated financial environment
- Strong track record leading enterprise risk assessments and advising senior leadership
- Experience influencing cross-functional initiatives and operating independently in complex environments
- Bachelor's degree
- Relevant professional certification
- Credit union or financial services experience
