Job Summary
Support contracting and documentation for Wellington’s Investment Platform including fixed income and equity transactions, derivatives and non-disclosure agreements; serve as the primary point of contact for the Public Markets Legal team and investment professionals; collaborate with Legal team members on contracting work; assist with complex issues in documentation and help establish controls/processes; support development and implementation of technology solutions related to contracting, including AI and Microsoft Power Apps; contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes and efficiency; 4 days in office with the flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in political science, Government, Economics, Finance, or a related field of study
- 1-2 years' experience in a legal or contracting function at an asset manager, financial institution, or large corporate, and experience in technology applications
- Good business judgement and strong collaboration skills
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
