Job Summary
Legal Associate at Driscoll Health System responsible for general legal services including regulatory compliance, Medicare/Medicaid issues, revenue cycle and billing regulations, and litigation support. Duties include drafting, advising on regulatory and compliance matters, managing discovery and e-discovery, coordinating with outside counsel, pursuing claims against payors, and representing DHS in mediations, arbitrations, or lawsuits related to payor agreements and audits. Requires JD from an accredited law school and admission to practice in Texas; five years’ health care legal/regulatory/revenue-cycle experience preferred and litigation experience strongly encouraged.
