Job Summary
Legal Associate to join BlackRock's Legal Insights team supporting the FAIR (Fee and Expense Analysis & Reporting) service for private market clients. Responsibilities include reviewing private fund documentation (LPAs, side letters, MFNs), analyzing legal fee and terms data using standard templates, identifying non-standard drafting, missing documents, and interpretation issues, supporting FAIR validation and client reporting through accurate legal analysis, and collaborating with senior lawyers and operations teams to deliver high-quality outputs. Qualifications include legal qualification or equivalent legal experience and experience reviewing complex legal agreements. The role offers a hybrid work model with at least 4 days in the office per week and 1 day remote, and opportunities to develop expertise at the intersection of law, data, and client delivery.
