Job Summary
Greet visitors, manage front desk, and support the managing attorney with administrative duties to keep the office functioning smoothly. Prepare and review documents necessary to conduct real estate closings (real estate closing experience required). Responsibilities include directing visitors, answering and screening calls, assisting with closing files (disbursing funds, scanning documents), maintaining a tidy reception area, providing information in-person and via phone/email, enforcing office security, keeping inventory, updating calendars, and performing clerical tasks (filing, photocopying, transcribing, faxing). Request documents for closings, check legal documents for accuracy, and obtain attorney approval for documents related to transactions. SoftPro experience is preferred. The company reserves the right to modify duties. Ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, able to handle high-stress environments, and a team player.
Required Qualifications
- Real estate closing experience is required
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (fax machines and printers)
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
