Job Summary
Legal Assistant to support Litigation and General Business practice groups. Responsibilities include using technology to optimize attorney workflows; preparing and editing legal documents; managing electronic and paper filings including e-filing in state courts; coordinating attorney calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel; maintaining client contact lists and attorney timesheets; processing expense reimbursements for attorneys and clients; and handling multiple priorities under pressure. Required qualifications include a high school diploma (associate’s degree preferred), 3+ years of legal secretarial experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF software, solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures, excellent communication, grammar, and organizational skills, and the ability to operate typical office equipment.
Required Qualifications

- 3+ years legal secretarial experience (negotiable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF software
- Solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication, grammar, and organizational skills
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, printers, fax machines, and phones
