Job Summary
Request, track, and follow up on medical records and billing from providers, hospitals, and insurance companies. Coordinate with medical providers to verify billing details, outstanding balances, and required documentation. Maintain and update case files, ensuring all records and documentation are accurate and current. Review medical records and bills for completeness, identifying and flagging any missing or inconsistent information. Assist with case intake, including initial file setup and documentation organization. Communicate with clients regarding treatment status and outstanding documentation needs. Monitor and track deadlines to ensure timely receipt of medical records and billing documents. Organize and prepare case documentation for demand packages, litigation, and settlement processes. Provide administrative and support to attorneys, paralegals, and case managers. Accurately maintain logs, notes, and updates within case management systems. Full-time, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST; $1,000 - $1,400/month.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law
- Demonstrated experience in: Medical records retrieval
- Demonstrated experience in: Medical billing coordination and collaborating with healthcare providers and insurance companies
- Strong understanding of personal injury case workflows and processes
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet concurrent deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Bilingual in Spanish
