Job Summary
Organize cases by establishing files, calendars, and deadlines while documenting all actions. Schedule depositions, prepare summonses and subpoenas, file discovery requests, and coordinate hearings and mediation conferences. Draft pleadings, monitor discovery responses from opposing counsel, and maintain contact with adjusters and opposing counsel. Initiate client communication, prepare clients for discovery, and keep them informed of case status. Utilize Microsoft Office products and case management software to support the firm's mission by completing other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience
- excellent communication skills
- well organized
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products
- Organizational skills
- Time management and planning skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency
- Detail oriented
- Must be dependable
- Able to keep cases and client matters confidential
- Must have reliable transportation
