Job Summary
Litigation-focused Legal Assistant to support the Costa Mesa office; hybrid schedule with one day work-from-home after 45 days. Responsibilities include managing e-filing and calendaring, preparing tables of contents and authorities, proofreading and drafting tasks with strong attention to detail, and providing administrative support. Must have excellent typing, formatting, and computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and iManage or similar document management systems. Familiarity with additional tools such as CompuLaw, Best Authority, Adobe Pro, and CCC Macros is a plus, along with strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience with solid knowledge of federal, state, and appellate court filing rules and procedures, including e-filing and calendaring.
- Knowledge of preparing tables of contents and authorities.
- Excellent proofreading and writing skills with great attention to detail.
- Excellent administrative, follow-up, initiative, and organizational skills.
- Excellent typing, formatting, and computer software skills with specific knowledge of Word (Microsoft), Outlook, Excel and iManage or similar document management system.
- Knowledge of CompuLaw, Best Authority, Adobe Pro, and CCC Macros is a plus.
