Job Summary
Provide administrative support to attorneys, draft and submit Worker’s Comp Board forms, communicate with clients, attorneys, insurance adjusters, medical providers; manage deadlines and calendars; schedule meetings, conference calls, depositions, mediations; monitor deadlines; assist with large document production; opportunity for growth in a teaching environment in our Pennsylvania office; seeking a reliable, responsible candidate eager to learn and pursue a paralegal degree.
Required Qualifications
- Desire to learn the legal assistant role or in school to earn their paralegal degree
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and protocols, and court system
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
- Computer literacy
- Working knowledge of case management software
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities and work under pressure
- Experience with editing, revising, and drafting of legal documents
- Ability to use discretion and handle confidential information
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work products
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
