Job Summary
Support family law files from intake through resolution; draft and prepare court materials, including pleadings, affidavits, financial statements, briefs, and settlement documentation; assist with conferences, motions, mediations, and trial preparation; manage file organization, document production, and court deadlines; coordinate service and filing of materials with the court and opposing counsel; liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff in a professional manner; maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date electronic and physical files; assist lawyers with scheduling, calendaring, and trial preparation.
Required Qualifications
- Law Clerk diploma or certificate from a recognized institution
- Demonstrated experience working in a family law practice
- Strong understanding of family law procedures, rules, and court processes
- Excellent drafting, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and competing deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
