Job Summary
Conduct legal file reviews, validate documents, and manage files to ensure court deadlines are met. Draft legal documents, perform legal research on complaints, cases, statutes, and regulations, and calculate fees. Assist attorneys with projects, handle client interactions and communications, and perform data entry, proofreading, and editing. Requires high school diploma, Microsoft Office skills, and experience in a law firm or mortgage banking environment. Full-time position with immediate availability, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM hours, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401k, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Microsoft Office skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Experience with data entry, proofreading and editing documents
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment to meet client deadlines
- Strong word processing and proof reading skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and take initiate as appropriate
- Ability to adapt to change
- Passing of our background, drug test and credit check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a law firm, title, bankruptcy, foreclosure and/ or mortgage banking
