Legal Assistant Manager (0–2 PQE)

Job Summary
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor agreements, NDAs, and partnership deals while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across markets. Manage corporate governance matters such as board resolutions, shareholder issues, and filings, and assist with legal operations, contract lifecycle management, and template updates. Conduct legal research, prepare guidance notes, monitor regulatory developments, and liaise with external counsel on discrete matters. Support special projects including market entry, licensing applications, acquisitions, disposals, corporate loans, and fundraising transactions. This junior lawyer role offers exposure to fintech, regulatory, and cross-border issues within a team handling first-of-its-kind transactions and ground-breaking acquisitions in the region.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree from a reputable university
- admission to practice in Singapore (or a common law jurisdiction)
- 0–2 years PQE in private practice or in-house legal teams
- Fresh graduates who have completed training contracts or relevant internships
- Demonstrated interest in fintech, financial services, or startup environments
- Strong contract drafting and legal analytical skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-moving environment
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and willingness to roll up your sleeves
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to regional legal or regulatory work in Southeast Asia
- Experience or coursework in corporate transactions including fundraising matters, corporate loans and M&A
- Familiarity with agile working environments or legal operations tools
