Job Summary
Manage administrative and paralegal support for the legal department, including calendar management, meeting coordination, correspondence, and expense reporting. Maintain organized filing systems for contracts, corporate records, and litigation holds while supporting contract execution logistics, board governance administration, and cap table equity processing. Conduct preliminary contract reviews, due diligence document collection, and trademark/patent docketing under attorney supervision. Perform legal research, document proofreading, and discovery support. Requires U.S. citizenship for export control compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years of administrative or paralegal experience supporting a legal function
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Discretion in handling confidential and privileged information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort using AI-assisted tools for drafting, review, and research support in a legal setting
- Prior experience in an in-house legal department or law firm
- Experience supporting a fast-paced, high-growth company
- Paralegal certificate or coursework
- Experience supporting corporate governance or board administration
- Experience with contract management or e-signature platforms (DocuSign, Ironclad, etc.)
- Experience with Carta or another cap table/equity management platform
