Job Summary
Manage an insurance litigation practice by liaising with clients and opposing counsel, drafting pleadings, affidavits, and motion records, and coordinating court filings and document deliveries. Transcribe dictations for statements of claim and defence, research memos, and reporting letters while handling basic administrative tasks such as proofreading, filing, and calendar management. Requires 4+ years of litigation experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure. Permanent hybrid schedule alternating remote and in-office days. Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of litigation experience
- exposure to an insurance defence litigation practice
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure
- Permanent Hybrid work - alternating 3 days remote/2 days in office followed by 3 days in office and 2 days remote
Desired Qualifications
- Some knowledge of Accident Benefits and LAT mediation/arbitration procedures
