Job Summary
Coordinate complex secretarial duties for IP and general litigation attorneys, including meeting planning, client communication, and scheduling. Draft and file correspondence, pleadings, and business development presentations while managing attorney calendars and daily dockets to ensure deadlines are met. Interact with clients and firm personnel at all levels, creating and maintaining client files in NetDocs and greeting guests for appointments. Prepare documentation for attorney review, provide document production services, and proofread all materials for formatting and errors. Manage incoming and outgoing mail, enter new client matter information in OPEN, input attorney time in InTapp Time, and prepare expense reports using Chrome River.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant Assistant experience
- Litigation experience including calendaring and trial preparation
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word including styles and document formatting, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
