Job Summary
Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, contracts, and corporate records while assisting with mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, and entity formations. Organize client files, coordinate transaction timelines and due diligence materials, and manage attorney calendars and client communications. Process expense reports, time entries, and billing information, open new client matters, and perform conflict checks. Communicate professionally with clients, financial institutions, and government agencies, and assist with document management and e-filing. This full-time, in-person role supports attorneys specializing in business law and complex transactions at DeWitt LLP's Green Bay office.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree, High School Diploma, GED Equivalent, or industry-specific certifications
- Prior legal assistant, executive assistant, or professional administrative experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- The ability to prioritize competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and a commitment to outstanding client service
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams
