Job Summary
Review new matters daily, prepare short summaries for each, and maintain up-to-date case files. Track matter flow, create databases and charts for data analysis, and contribute to developing technology and processes for managing global litigation. Prepare weekly and monthly summaries of new cases and developments while assisting in document preparation, analysis, and implementing established strategy for all new cases. Prepare daily time entries and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of legal services. Work independently within established guidelines, utilizing litigation support software and spreadsheets as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year college degree
- Minimum G.P.A. of 3.5
- Strong academic background
- Clear and concise writing skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Related work and/or internship experience
- Excellent organizational skills
- Willingness and ability to work overtime and long hours
- Basic knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity and competency with technology
- Ability to follow through on projects
- Ability to work under pressure and with a variety of personalities
- Ability to work with and liaise with colleagues in other internal departments
- Excellent professional and personal references
- Excellent judgement
- High ethical standards
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
