Job Summary
Provide administrative, organizational, and operational support across the legal department by managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and drafting correspondence. Monitor group mailboxes for initial triage and routing of communications, while receiving and distributing served documents with timely escalation. Support legal-related budget matters through spend tracking, reporting, and invoicing coordination for all expenses. Maintain SharePoint and intranet sites, drive records management practices, and assist the external counsel program with data and KPIs. Develop administrative processes to improve efficiency and foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders. Work hybrid in Edmonton with minimal travel, handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration
- Education equivalency
- 5-7+ years of legal administrative experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Working knowledge of Excel for data organization, tracking and basic analysis
- PowerPoint to support strong presentations and communications
- Visio for the maintenance of corporate organizational charts
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint as a central document management and intranet tool across the company
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to receive, prioritize, and handle multiple competing priorities
- Ability to adapt quickly and flexibly in a dynamic environment
