Job Summary
Conduct legal research, review documents for accuracy, and coordinate trial appearances between clients and network attorneys. Negotiate payment arrangements, oversee evidence exhibits, and arrange court costs and fees. Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys while completing interrogatories and requests for production. Perform audits on network attorneys for compliance, analyze YGC reporting, and maintain current knowledge of general ledger procedures. Assist in training other staff, manage mail distribution, and update account notes via data entry. Complete all required training. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
Required Qualifications
- An associate's degree in paralegal studies or a paralegal certificate from a regionally or nationally accredited program, or one approved by the American Bar Association
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a legal environment
- Intermediate knowledge of relevant laws, legal/court procedures, and legal terminology
- Strong proficiency in office practices, procedures, computer operations, and word processing software
- Proven ability to conduct internet research and maintain data using Excel
- Regular and predictable attendance
