Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on Foreign Direct Investment policies, sectoral caps, and government approvals for inbound investors. Track updates in Indian FDI laws, sector-specific guidelines from DPIIT, RBI, and SEBI, and interpret bilateral or multilateral treaties impacting investment. Prepare briefs, memos, and advisory notes summarizing regulatory frameworks for internal and client use. Support industry research teams with legal insights across infrastructure, fintech, education, EV, and green energy sectors by conducting comparative analysis of international regulatory environments. Provide internal corporate compliance support, including drafting regulatory due diligence reports, reviewing contracts, and maintaining trackers for legal risks and ongoing filings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B.)
- Masters degree (LL.M. or specialisation in Business/International Law)
Desired Qualifications
- A Company Secretarial qualification (part or completed)
