Job Summary
Monitor Indian Central and State legislation, Bills, and subordinate legislation to analyze amendments and implement statutory updates across digital products. Prepare legislative histories, editor's notes, commencement information, and annotations while verifying citations through legal research. Apply expertise to verify AI-assisted analysis, metadata, and summaries, identifying opportunities to improve prompts and editorial workflows. Manage concurrent legislative projects to deliver updates on publishing schedules and support content expansion initiatives. Collaborate with editorial, product, and technology teams to ensure collections meet customer needs and contribute to scalable editorial processes.
Required Qualifications
- LLB, JD, or equivalent law degree
- Strong understanding of Indian legislation, statutory interpretation, and legislative research
- Excellent legal research, analytical, and legal writing skills
- High level of accuracy with strong editorial, proofreading, and quality assurance skills
- Experience interpreting legislative amendments and maintaining legislative publications or legal databases
- Familiarity with AI technologies, large language models, and prompt engineering
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaborative product development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and XML; comfort with emerging technologies
