$18,000–$24,000 year

On-siteBogotá, Bogota D.C., Colombia

Full TimeMediumFintech

Job Summary

Own and drive legal and cross-functional projects originating from the Office of the CEO, from kickoff to delivery, holding stakeholders and outside counsel accountable to commitments and deadlines. Conduct legal and regulatory research on business, market, and operational questions, delivering crisp, decision-ready synthesis rather than raw research dumps. Prepare materials for executive meetings, board interactions, and investor touchpoints, including legal briefing notes, agendas, decks, data summaries, and post-meeting action trackers. Track corporate governance items, entity management, and compliance deadlines, surfacing risks and blockers early with proposed solutions. Build and maintain automation and AI-enabled workflows that scale the legal and administrative productivity of the Office of the CEO. Coordinate with Legal, Engineering, Product, Finance, People, and Marketing to keep executive and legal priorities moving in parallel. Act as a trusted, discreet extension of executive and legal leadership; handle confidential and privileged information with absolute integrity. This role requires a recent law graduate with demonstrated experience using AI tools like Claude, reporting through the Chief of Staff to the CEO in Bogotá.

Required Qualifications

  • Recent graduate (or graduating within 6 months) from a top Colombian university with a law degree (Derecho)
  • Major: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related quantitative discipline
  • Strong GPA and demonstrated intellectual discipline
  • High IQ, fast learner, comfortable holding multiple variables in your head at once
  • Natural orientation to break work down, sequence it, hold people accountable, and close loops
  • Daily, comfortable user of modern AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, similar)
  • Able to design prompts, build simple automations, and use AI to compress hours of work into minutes
  • Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools
  • Comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication
  • Obsessively organized. Calendars, trackers, follow-ups, and documents in order
  • Clear, concise, professional written and spoken English and Spanish
  • Comfortable communicating with senior executives
  • Trustworthy, composed, and professional under pressure
  • In possession of a B1/B2 US Visa
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL basics), and presentation design
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Desired Qualifications

  • Internship or work experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, fintech, or a high-growth startup
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial activity: founded a club, organized an event, ran a side project, built a small product or business
  • Leadership experience at university (student government, case competitions, conferences, sports leadership)
