Legal Analyst I

Job Summary
Undertake legal projects including routine insurance coverage analysis, document analysis, regulatory analysis, contract review, and company publication assistance. Coordinate and monitor legal department reports and corporate filings while promptly responding to inquiries from agents, policyholders, and regulators. Research and apply policy language, statutes, and risk management concepts to resolve day-to-day matters, providing timely status reports to management. Assist in developing and communicating legal information to internal and external customers, participating in meetings and interdepartmental projects. Conduct effective legal research and interface with external contacts, managers, and staff. Familiarity with church operations and related ministries is required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience (full-time or part-time work as paralegal, claims adjuster, or legal, business, or process analyst)

- Bachelor's degree
- Insurance-related studies
- Studies involving technical legal writing
- Paralegal studies
- Prior experience in contract drafting
- Prior experience in corporate law
- Prior experience in other legal document preparation
- Familiarity with church operations
