Job Summary
Manage and oversee legal corporate records, including saving documents into iManage, closing sets, and notifying appropriate teams. Support Books and Records regulatory requirements and administer protection of personally identifiable information. Manage FOS review and quarterly sign-off processes for real estate funds, update responsible persons, and track sign-offs. Assist with preparing legal documents such as confidentiality agreements and notices of authorized signatories. Review side letter compendiums for funds and update quarterly restrictions on political contributions. Draft resolutions and coordinate KYC information for bank accounts while tracking anti-money laundering laws. Maintain BPG Info site indexes, organize quarterly portfolio management board reports, and reconcile personnel lists to support staff allocation processes. This role supports the Legal & Regulatory team on real estate lending and loan closing operations within the New York office.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years corporate paralegal/legal analyst experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
