Job Summary
Legal Advisor role supporting Waystone's Legal function with a focus on fund structures, regulatory matters (ManCo/AIFM), and strategic projects. Responsibilities include providing high-quality legal guidance to internal stakeholders and clients across the lifecycle of investment funds (launch, operation, restructuring, termination), drafting and negotiating a range of fund-related agreements (IMAs, PMAs, service agreements, NDAs), contributing to governance processes, and representing the company in industry groups (e.g., ALFI, LPEA). The position requires expertise in Luxembourg fund regulation, ability to work in an international environment, and a Master in Law with advanced certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Master in Law
- Advanced legal education with relevant Law and/or Finance certifications demonstrating strong expertise in Luxembourg law
- CCDL - Cours complémentaires en droit luxembourgeois considered a plus
- 5+ years of experience in the fund industry
- Strong regulatory and legal knowledge in asset management and funds
