Job Summary
Legal Advisor to establish and update internal policies related to data handling, conduct regular and exceptional audits, and ensure internal compliance. Advise on legal changes and coordinate implementation to align with evolving needs, draft and review contracts and other documents, support AML/KYC requirements, address legal matters in business development, represent the company in legal matters, provide guidance to management on a wide range of topics, ensure compliance with data protection laws including GDPR, monitor European digital business regulations with emphasis on Estonia, and collaborate across departments to identify and manage legal risks related to product features, terms & conditions, and overall legal accuracy and compliance. Hybrid work setup in Tallinn, Estonia with international collaboration and opportunities for cross-functional engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal advisor or lawyer
- Expertise in contract and commercial law
- Experience with copyright law and related legal issues
- Fluent written and verbal communication in Estonian and English
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to handle complex assignments and multi-tasking
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
