Job Summary
Provide administrative support to the Matrimonial Department within a full-service law firm, including handling client intakes, preparing and sending engagement letters, tracking retainers and billing records, entering attorney time, managing accounts receivable and invoicing, maintaining case files and calendars, and coordinating workflow to meet deadlines. Requires 3-5 years of relevant legal administrative experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and legal billing/case management software. Based in White Plains, NY with in-person duties.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in legal administrative, billing, or client services role (matrimonial or family law experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal billing systems or case management software
- Professional, team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
