LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

Job Summary

Prepare, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence while maintaining litigation files and organizing legal documentation. Conduct research to compile data for reports and decision-making, and manage personnel functions such as payroll processing, leave tracking, and employee documentation. Oversee financial records by processing payments, preparing cost estimates, balancing accounts, and maintaining petty cash. Supervise subordinate staff by assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing training, while coordinating with internal staff, agencies, vendors, and the public. Assist with procurement, public records requests, and routine clerical duties like filing, data entry, and mail processing. Requires six years of experience in legal administrative or office support roles, proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets, and strong organizational skills.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience in legal administrative, secretarial, or office support roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license

Desired Qualifications

  • Additional college-level coursework
  • Experience in a legal or local government environment
