Job Summary
Screen applicants for eligibility, conduct client intake, and maintain accurate records including volunteer information to support reporting and administrative needs. Assist staff in coordinating legal services, managing client files, creating documents, and scheduling volunteer presentations. Translate or interpret for clients as appropriate, and travel to court for document filing, service delivery, and returns. Provide coverage and support at various SDVLP locations across San Diego County based on operational needs. Fluency in Spanish and English required; strong Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills; at least six months of general office administration experience. Associate degree required; dependable transportation with a clean driving record and valid license with proof of insurance necessary. Full-time office role Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the North Family Justice Center in San Marcos.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency (written and verbal) in Spanish and English
- Strong Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint skills
- At least 6 months of general office administration experience
- Dependable transportation
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver's license with proof of insurance
- Associate degree
- Must be available for office work 5 days per week at the North Family Justice Center located in San Marcos
- Work hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 37.50-hour work week
