Job Summary
Legal Administrative Assistant IP in Phoenix, AZ supports attorneys, patent agents, and paralegals in an IP practice by managing IP-related documents, filing patent/trademark applications with the USPTO and foreign IP offices, maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, coordinating attorney schedules and travel, drafting correspondence, processing billing and time entries, preparing materials for client meetings, and handling IP research and compliance tasks. Requires strong organization, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, IP docketing software, and effective communication; remote work option one day per week after training; ITAR compliance noted.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of administrative experience in a law firm or legal department, with IP experience
- Familiarity with USPTO systems, PCT filings, and foreign IP processes is a plus
